Adam M Davis passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2024. Our family was not expecting Adam’s life to be cut short so soon. We are all devastated by this huge loss and he will be forever missed.
He was big on riding Harleys, causing havoc and lots of hell raising. He also lived to go to Port Mansfield. He always had a great time on the boat. Adam was also a die-hard Alabama fan.
Adam worked hard as a Journeyman Lineman with IBEW. He was with the union for 24 years. Adam loved his job and the guys he worked with.
He was born with a naturally sweet and kind soul, a heart of gold, a big smile and beautiful blue eyes. If you were his friend, you were his friend for life. He was always a joy to be around. But behind those eyes was a lot of pain and anguish. If we don’t learn anything, remember to reach out to someone at all costs.
He was preceded in death by Janice Blackburn, (who he affectionately called ‘Grandmother’), his paternal grandparents Van and Helen Davis and his father in-law, Jose Lopez, Sr. He missed them deeply every single day since then.
He will always be remembered with much love by his heartbroken wife, BobbieJo and his boys Manolo and Merrek and daughter Addison Davis. Also left behind to cherish his memory is his mom Ginger Bankston, his dad and step- mom David and Melanie Davis, his sisters Amy Michelle Davis Boyd (Matthew), Katie Davis Archer (John George), Hannah Davis (Jonathan) along with his Maternal grandfather Jerry Blackburn (who he affectionately called ‘Pawpaw’) and a long list of deeply saddened Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended family. He also leaves behind Honey Biscuit Davis, his sweet 8-year-old MountainKer and his sweet but mean rabbit Ernest Eugene Davis who is now missing his favorite person. Keep Bobbiejo in prayer because now she is going to bring up the rabbit.
He was also greatly loved and will be greatly missed by the many friends he’d made from growing up and working all over the Americas.
We can all find solace in knowing he’s been reunited with his grandparents and his father-in-law. What a joyous reunion it must have been for them all.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a funeral service at 6 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. All services will conclude at this time.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the caring hands of Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 1157 W. Hidalgo Ave., Raymondville, Texas 78580
