Agustin Colchado

Agustin “Shorty” Colchado, 72, of Raymondville, TX entered into eternal rest Thursday, June 9, 2022. He was born on August 18, 1949, in Raymondville, Tx to Palmiro and Rosa Colchado.

Shorty is preceded in death by his wife, Corina Colchado, parents, Palmiro and Rosa Colchado, sister, Julia Weaver and son-in-law, Felipe Quiroga. He is survived by his sons, Agustin Colchado II and Josue Oscar Colchado, daughters, Emily Ann Quiroga and Laura Lee Colchado, brothers, Ramiro and Richard Colchado, sisters, Elena Ramirez (Bob), Rosa Sandoval (Pepe), Velia Salinas (John), Delia Romo (George), grandchildren, Heaven, Fabian, Ava, Julian, Bella, Penelope, and Zoey.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 12, 2022, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. then resumed Monday, June 13, 2022, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral mass was held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Prince of Peace in Lyford, Tx. A funeral procession followed to his final place of rest at Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Emilio Weaver III, Aaron Weaver, Adrian Sandoval, Rico Ramirez, Stephen John Salinas, and J.J. Romo.

Honorary pallbearers will be Samuel Weaver and Santiago Ramirez.
