Alberto F. Rodriguez

Alberto “Beto” F. Rodriguez, 86, entered into eternal rest on September 5, 2024, at his residence in Sebastian, Texas. He was born on February 26, 1938, to Josefa (Flores) and Delfino Rodriguez.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lydia (Lilly) F. Rodriguez, his daughter, Susie Q. Villafuerte, his son, Alberto Rodriguez Jr. (Elodia), his brothers-in-law, Macario Rangel and Samuel Garcia, his sisters-in-law, Mary Garza, Linda Flores, and Amelia J. Rodriguez, his grandchildren, Sandra L. Karthman (Danny), David Michael Villafuerte, Hugo Albert Rodriguez, and Carlos Amadeo Rodriguez, his great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn Aria Karthman and Joseph Daniel Karthman IV, and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Alberto is preceded in death by his little angel, Sandra Lea Rodriguez, his parents, Josefa and Delfino Rodriguez, his brothers, Antonio (Virginia +) Rodriguez, Santana (Estefana +) Rodriguez, Juan (Margarita +) Rodriguez, Marcelino Rodriguez, and Guadalupe Rodriguez, his sisters, Margarita (Jose+) Gutierrez, and Isidra Garcia.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Alberto Rodriguez Jr., Adrian Flores, David Villafuerte, David Michael Villafuerte, Danny Karthman, and Sandy Karthman.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 6 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Lyford. Interment will follow to his final place of rest at the Sebastian Guadalupe Cemetery.
