Amalia Salinas Obituary

Amalia Salinas, 103, entered eternal rest on Monday, May 12, 2025, surrounded by loving family. She was born in Raymondville, TX, on May 18, 1922, to the late Gregorio Salinas Sr. and Librada Flores Salinas.

She is survived by her sister, Victoria Salinas Morrow, her grandchildren, Michelle, Bobby, Mark, Diana, Michael, and Marissa, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio and Librada Salinas, her brothers, Gregorio, Juan, Mauricio, Trinidad, and Santos, her sister, Gloria Battaglia, and by Anastacio De La Torre Sr., Manual De La Torre, and Guadalupe Salinas.  

Honored to serve as pallbearers were, Eddie, Mauricio, Aroldo, Joe and Dillon.

Viewing was held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral mass was held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 12 noon at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment followed to her final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the caring hands of Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 1157 W. Hidalgo Ave., Raymondville, Texas 78580.
