Angelita "Angie" C. Ramirez

Angelita “Angie” C. Ramirez, born August 31, 1940, of Raymondville, TX, passed to her heavenly home surrounded by loving family on Sunday, January 29, 2023.

Mom was a longtime beloved waitress at Casa Blanca restaurant in Raymondville. Everyone who knew mom knew a visit to the restaurant would leave you well served and with a smile because of mom’s witty disposition. Mom had a story or joke to share with everyone she served. Mom was a very strong woman of faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, a devout Catholic, and a longtime member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Raymondville, TX. Mom was a true prayer warrior whom many sought and relied on for extra prayers in times of need. It is through mom’s devout faith that we find comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of God and rejoined dad, the love of her life.

She is survived by her sons, Mike (Missy) Ramirez, David (Monica) Ramirez, and Ronnie (Lodi) Ramirez; grandsons, Gabriel (Abbie) Ramirez and Daniel (Briana) Ramirez; great-grandson, Roman Gabriel and granddaughter, Jazzy; also, her beloved blended family Dennyse (Mario) Cazares, Elias, Kiara, Ahlena, Steven (Lauren) Reyes, Jacolby and Jacob Sosa. Angie is preceded in death by her husband, Fernando “Freddy” Ramirez; mother, Santos Martinez; and her only sister, Guillermina Mata.

In honor of mom’s wishes a memorial service following cremation will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, the rosary will be prayed at 2:00 P.M. followed by a memorial service at 3:00 P.M.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the caring hands of Good Shepherd Funeral Home.
