Antonio Cuellar

Antonio Cuellar, 85, of La Jarita, TX, entered into eternal rest on February 19, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones. Antonio was born January 15, 1937, to Francisco Cuellar and Guadalupe Gonzales in La Jarita. He was lovingly raised by Domingo and Lupita Olivares Loya. 

Antonio will be missed by his entire family and friends. He was one of a kind, loved by all, and left a great impression on everyone he met. Heaven has gained one of the best angels. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Josefina Lara and granddaughter Ashley Cuellar.

He leaves to cherish his beautiful memories his loving wife of 60 years, Lucina Cabrera Cuellar, daughter Annabelle Baue from Orlando, FL., sons Johnny Cuellar (Blanca) of La Jarita, Hector Cuellar (Andrea) of Harlingen, daughter Alyce Edwards (LG) of Indianapolis, IN., grandchildren Audrey Cuellar, Jacqueline Baue, Joshua Cuellar (Briana), Cecilia Cuellar, Trey Edwards, Elyse Edwards, and numerous half brothers and sisters. He will also be missed by his trusted yellow labs, Bella and King.

Antonio will always be in our hearts.

Private visitation for the family was held yesterday, Tuesday, February 22, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm and was resumed today, Wednesday, February 23, for family and friends from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm at Good Shepherd Funeral Home in Raymondville, TX with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Good Shepherd Funeral Home.

On Thursday, February 24, 2022, a funeral procession will depart at 9:30 A.M. from Good Shepherd Funeral Home for a funeral mass at 10:00 am at Santa Monica Catholic Church. A funeral procession will follow to his final place of rest at La Jarita Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be son, Johnny Cuellar, grandsons Joshua Cuellar and Trey Edwards, Miguel Cavazos, Robert Garcia and Juan Guajardo.
