Antonio “Tony” G. Quilantan, Jr., 79, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. He was born July 6, 1943, in Lyford, TX to Antonio Quilantan, Sr. and Esqolastica Gil Quilantan.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa Molina Quilantan, and his daughters, Cynthia N Vasquez, Elma A Reyna, Criselda Quilantan, and Michelle Y Frasier, his brothers, Richard Quilantan+, Paul Quilantan, and Jesse Quilantan, his sisters, Hortencia Quilantan+, Margaret Elizondo, Mary Cervantez, Alicia Rubio, Lupita (Lulu) Williams, Janie Mercado, Yolanda Rodriquez, and Diana Castro, and his grandchildren, Anthony (Tiannie) Quilantan, Luis M. Vasquez, Rebecca R. Quilantan, Krista M. (Anthony) Bella, Laura L. Vasquez, Joseph Reyna, Matthew Reyna, Nathan Reyna, Daphney (Ricardo) Segura, Karla (Joaquin) Gonzales, Brandon L. Castaneda, and Brielle Castaneda, and his great grandchildren, Anthony B. Bella, Sophia J. Vasquez, Jax I. Gonzales, Addyson Segura, Kyden J. Gonzales, Kaleb A. Bella, and Ricardo Segura, and god children, Ana Berta Gonzalez and James Frasier, Jr. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Antonio Quilantan, Sr. and Esqolastica Gil Quilantan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 9, 2023, from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral mass was held on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Lyford, TX. A funeral procession followed to his final place of rest at the Lyford Evergreen Cemetery.
Honored to serve as Pallbearers were Anthony Quilantan, Luis M. Vasquez, James Frasier Jr., Efrain Perez Jr. Anthony J. Bella, and Nathan Reyna. And Honorary Pallbearers were Joseph Reyna, Matthew Reyna, Anthony B. Bella, and Joaquin Gonzales.
