Armando Herrera

Armando Herrera, 46, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. He was born on January 2, 1975 in Harlingen, Texas to Tomas Herrera Sr. and Guadalupe Herrera.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline Herrera, mother, Guadalupe Herrera, son, Armando Herrera Jr., daughters, Samantha Ackers and Alexis Herrera, brother, Tomas Herrera Jr., sister, Alma Cavazos, and grandchildren, Skyler and Samuel Ackers. He is preceded in death by his father Tomas Herrera Sr.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. then resumed Monday, March 15, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. A chapel service was held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral procession will follow to his final place of rest in the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers were Spencer Ackers, Mandito Herrera, Genaro Valdovinos, Michael Valdovinos, Eric Herrera, and BJ Cavazos Jr.

Honorary pallbearers were Skyler Ackers, Samuel Ackers, Otoniel Valdovinos, Noe Alaniz, and Tomas Herrera Jr.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the caring hands of Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 1157 W. Hidalgo Ave., Raymondville, TX 78580.
