Ascencion M. Coronado

Ascencion Coronado, 87, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 6, 2025, in Raymondville, TX. He was born on August 15, 1938, in Mexico.

He is survived by his loving wife, Santos C. Coronado, his sons, Jose I. Coronado and Rogelio Coronado, his daughters, Maria T. Chavarria, Maria Juanita Coronado, his grandchildren, Teresa Rodriguez, Polly Cantu, Molly Betencourt, Fernando Chavarria Jr., Rogelio Coronado Jr., Christopher J. Coronado, Andrew Saldivar, and Isaac Coronado, and by 8 great grandchildren.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Oscar Castro, Thomas Herrera Jr., Martin Coronado, Jose Coronado, Joey Castro, Bobby Sayas, Nico Rico, and Betito Coronado.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and will resume on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 6 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Catholic Church. Interment will follow to her final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
