Benito L. Treviño

Benito Treviño, 72, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 27, 2025, in Harlingen, TX. He was born on October 26, 1952, in Levelland, TX, to Lorenzo Treviño and Ursula Loya Treviño.  

He is survived by his loving wife, Manuela Vasquez Treviño, his son, Timothy Treviño, his brother, Robert Treviño, his sisters, Amelia Flores, Delia Romo, and Elva Vasquez, his grandchildren, Christiaan A. Treviño, Brenda M. Treviño, Ethan J. Treviño, Michael A. Martinez, Princes D. Smith, Toniqua L. Smith, Jayda R. Smith, and Paris J. Smith, and by his great grandchild, Enzo J. Treviño.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer R. Treviño, his parents, Lorenzo and Ursula Loya Treviño, his brother, Lorenzo Treviño Jr., his grandchildren, Timothy A. Treviño and Christopher M. Treviño.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Timothy Treviño, Pierre Vasquez, Eric Vasquez, Christiaan A. Treviño, Ethan J. Treviño, and Michael A. Martinez

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 6 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow to his final place of rest at the Lyford Guadalupe Cemetery.
