Carlos Arellano, 82, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. He was born on November 4, 1940, in Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Fermin Arellano and Eulogia Huerta de la Torre.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Valentin Arellano, sister, Lydia de Lira and Petra Arellano, and great-grandson, Izell Bella Jr. He is survived by his wife, Beatriz Arellano, sons, Jesse (Ester) Arellano, Rodolfo (Lilly) Arellano, and Fermin (Cindy) Arellano, daughters, Rosalinda (Joe) Marroquin and Maribel Arellano, brothers, Marciano Arellano and Leonardo Arellano, sisters, Paula Arellano, Dolores Meza, Guadalupe Arellano, and Ramona Guerra, grandchildren, Jesus Arellano Jr., Savannah Arellano, Vivianna Marroquin, Becky Marroquin, David Marroquin, Johnny Lara, Frances Lara, Ferminia Arellano, Laura Arellano, Mercedez Arellano, Jose Armando Garcia, and Jose Javier Reyes, great-grandchildren, Chloe Canamar, Kayla Gonzales, Javi Gonzales, Kiera Bella, Liam Bella, Albis Davila, Adaleena K. Lopez, Arielia S Lopez, Alani J. Lopez, and Baby Marroquin.
Viewing was held on Sunday, June 25, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and resumes Monday, June 26, 2023, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A funeral procession will follow to his final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
