Celia (Rodriguez) Solorio

Celia R. Solorio, 67, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 30, 2025, in Lasara, Texas. Celia was born on December 9, 1957, in Raymondville, Texas to Marcella Rios Rodriguez and Ricardo Rodriguez Sr.

Celia is survived by her son Daniel Jose Solorio (Darlene), her daughters, Debbie Solorio, Delma Solorio (Ray De la Garza), Diana Solorio, and Cassandra Pena-Flores (Jay), her brothers, Manuel Rodriguez (Dina), Delfino Rodriguez (Molly), Ricky Rodriguez (Melissa), her sisters, Mary Esparza, Nora Garica (Oscar), Olga Medrano (Joe), by her grandchildren, Deandra Solorio, Maranda Solorio, Daniel Solorio Jr., Devin De la Garza, Jacob Galvan, Alexis Solorio, Ray De la Garza, Jayden De la Garza, Desinae Galvan, Jennaya Galvan, Delilah Obregon, Gabrina Galvan, Nesida Perez, Kaelego Flores, Kahlessi Flores, and Anthony Trevino, and by her 5 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rodrigo Solorio, her parents, Ricardo Rodriguez Sr. and Marcella Rios Rodriguez, and by her brother, Ruben Rodriguez.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Daniel Jose Solorio Jr., Ray De la Garza, Jayden De la Garza, Devin De la Garza, Jacob Galvan, Anthony Trevino, Aiden Medrano, Freddy Quintero III, and Brayden Quintero.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow to her final place of rest at the Lasara Cemetery.
