Concepcion Moreno, 80, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. She was born on May 18, 1945, in Raymondville, to the late Angel Villarreal and Paula Alaniz Villarreal.
She is survived by her sons, Angel (Iliana) Moreno, Benjamin Moreno, and daughter, Irene M. Cavazos (+Heron), her brother, George Villareal, her sisters, Maria Espinoza, Manuela Guzman, Angela Acre, Linda Reyna, Paula Villarreal, and Criselda Hernandez, her grandchildren, Tyler Moreno, Andrea Moreno, and Heron Gustavo Cavazos, and by numerous nieces and nephews who she adored greatly.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Moreno, her parents, Angel Villarreal and Paula Alaniz Villarreal, her sons, Baby Benjamin, Javier Moreno, and Adan Moreno, her brothers, Ladislado Villarreal and Isidro Villarreal.
Honored to service as pallbearers are Ricardo Lopez, Oziel Lopez Jr, Ismael Moreno Jr., Jobe Moreno, Isaac Soto, Butch Templeton, and Angel Villarreal. Honorary pallbearer, grandson, Heron Gustavo Cavazos.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow to her final place of rest next to her loving husband at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
