Cynthia Hernandez

Cynthia Hernandez, 59, was called home by the Lord on Thursday, April 14, 2022. She was born on March 6, 1963 in Raymondville, Texas to Daniel S. Garcia and Oralia Robles Garcia.

Cynthia is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Eli Hernandez, sons, Eli Hernandez Jr. and Dustin Hernandez, daughters, Stormy Ann (Robby) Chavez, Windy Renee (Larry) Perez, Misty Marie Hernandez, Sunny Brooke Hernandez, and Winter Rose (Ryan) Mercer, brother, Daniel (Rose) Garcia Jr., sisters, Sandra Jean (Freddy) Villarreal, Diana Garcia, Corina (Raul) Garcia, and Christina (Curtis) Wheatcraft, grandchildren, Ricky, Rainy, Darien, Nicholas, Nathan, Eric, Tristan, Hanna, Isaiah, Zachary, Ethan, Justin, Ray, Mason, and Carter, great grandchildren, Greyson Isabella and Kylan Jay. She is also survived by many family members whom she loved dearly. Cynthia is preceded in death by her father, Daniel S. Garcia.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Viewing will resume on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at which time family will gather for a procession to the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery where a graveside service will be held.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Darien, Nicholas, Nathan, Eric, Isaiah, and Zachary. Granddaughters, Hanna and Rainy, will serve as honorary pallbearers.
