Daniel G. Garza, Sr.

Daniel G. Garza Sr., 83, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his residence. He was born on November 3, 1937 in Raymondville, Texas to Alfredo Garza Sr. and Rosa G. Garza.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ninfa Garza, sons, Daniel Garza Jr. (Mari) and Michael Garza (Senette), daughters, Irma Garza, Diana Buenavista (Juan), Dalia Villa (Manuel), Rosie Garza (Joe), and Lisa Garza (Segundo), brother, Samuel Garza, sister, Rebecca Hinojosa, 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo Garza Sr. and Rosa G. Garza, sisters, Evangelina Nieto and Consuelo G. Garza, and brother, Alfredo Garza Jr.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. then resumed Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. A graveside service was held on Sunday, March 15, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral procession will follow to his final place of rest in the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers were Samuel Garza, Jayden Garza, Jacob Garza, Brandon Garza, Daniel Garza lll, Corey Diaz, Michael Hernandez, and Jose Hernandez.
