Daniel Marez

Daniel Marez, 56, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 28, 2024, in Raymondville, Texas. He was born on August 27, 1967, in Raymondville, Texas, to Porfirio Marez and Maria Flores.

He is survived by his daughter, Angelic Dawson, his brothers, Pime (Felicia) Marez, Boy (Daisy) Marez, his sisters, Diana Jamerson and Martha Mesa, and by several nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Porfirio and Maria Marez, his sister Elizabeth Acosta, his brother Rudolfo Marez, and 2 nieces.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Danny Marez, Rodney Suarez, Dan DeLeon, George Ledesma, Frank Ledesma, and Eddie Salinas. Honorary pallbearers are Mason Durbin, Jontaye Jamerson, Rodney Suarez Jr., Michael Suarez, Freddy Jamerson, Nathan Enriguez, Gabriel Marez, Joshua Chambers, Rudy Garcia, and Josue Garcia III.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Raymondville, Texas. Interment will follow to his final resting place at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
