Davianna "Davi" Sable Ruiz

Davianna "Davi" Sable Ruiz went to be with our Lord on Friday, September 12, 2025, surrounded by her family at Harlingen Medical Center. Davi was born on August 29, 2004, in Harlingen, Texas. She is the daughter of David Ruiz of Beeville, Texas, and Rhonda Rae Ramirez of Raymondville, Texas.

 She is survived by her parents, sister Kassidy Ruiz, and brother Cody Gonzales. She is also survived by her nieces, Chloe and Kayden Gonzales and nephew, Cain Gonzales, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  

She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Santiago Ramirez and Felipa Ramirez Koebel. Her paternal grandparents, Richard C. Ruiz, Juanita Ruiz, and Uncle Richard C. Ruiz, Jr., and cousin, Amber Salazar. 

Davi is now with the angels in heaven. We find peace in knowing that she is in her Grandma Fela’s arms. We will always cherish the memory of Davi’s kind heart, belly laughs, and her beautiful smile. She loved her alternative music, especially her 21 Pilots. She also loved watching her Marvel movies, scary movies, anime shows and playing her video games. She also loved to read and often had her novel in her hand. Davi was also an animal lover and had all kinds of pets including dogs, cats, hamsters, ducks, rabbits, and a ferret and we are sure she will have her own animal farm in heaven. Davi also loved porcelain dolls and collected them. Davi brought so much joy into our lives, and the thought of a future without her is a pain we will carry forever. As painful as losing her may be, our happy memories together will get us through this. We are so incredibly proud to have called her a daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and niece. You taught us to live with passion and to appreciate every moment. Rest in peace, our sweet Davianna. Go in peace, fly high, until we see you again.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Rene Cervantes, Cody Gonzales, Eddie Ramirez, Roy Garza, Juventino Gomez, and Tim Banks. Honorary pallbearers are David Ruiz, Rolando Garza, Giovanni Cervantes, and Steve Ramirez.

Viewing will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow to her final place of rest at The Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
