David Oviedo, 35, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. He was born on October 1, 1990, in Harlingen, TX, to Abelardo (Abel) Oviedo and Marta Vasquez Oviedo.
David is survived by his parents, Abel Oviedo and Marta Vasquez Oviedo and his sister, Desirae Oviedo. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
David is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Narciso Vasquez Sr. and Maria Perez Vasquez, and paternal grandparents, Celestino Oviedo and Maria Oviedo.
David always had a smile on his face, and his laugh was contagious but the best part of him was he possessed a beautiful heart that touched so many people. Among the things David loved to do were playing basketball at the park, playing video games on his PlayStation, spending time with his family and going to watch movies and shows with his sister, Desirae. However, his biggest passion was watching his favorite team – THE DALLAS COWBOYS – play on Sundays. David was a joyful and happy person who will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.
