Elena S. Quintero, 96, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, in Harlingen, TX. She was born on December 28, 1926, in Brownsville, TX, to Rogerio F. Sierra and Concepcion Valerio.
She is survived by her sons, Frank R. Quintero, Luciano S. Quintero (Adela), Edward S. Quintero, and Arnoldo S. Quintero (Madalena), her daughters, Lucila M. Gonzales (Hector), Anna M. Klumpp (Kenneth), M. Elena Caldwell, Linda G. Blanchard (Louis), and Connie R Lozano, her 26 grandchildren, her 43 great grandchildren, and her 5 great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rogerio F. Sierra and Concepcion Valerio, and her loving husband Francisco Quintero.
A special thanks to Dominique at Allstate Hospice and Lidia and Juani for taking care of mom.
A viewing will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Raymondville, TX. Interment will follow to her final place of at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Roger P. Gonzales, Samuel R. Loya, John Darnell de Roulac, Frank J. Blanchard, Myles S. Caldwell, and Joshua J. Garcia and Hector Gonzales. The honorary pallbearer is Matthew C. Arshadmansado.
