Elisa "Licha" (Alfaro) Moreno

Elisa “Licha” A. Moreno, 99, has entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 5, 2024.  She was born on May 8, 1924, in Falfurrias, Tx, to Cecilio Alfaro and Dorothea Sifuentes.

She is survived by her sons, Pedro Moreno Jr. (Alamar) of Raymondville, TX., Juan Moreno (Nora Salinas) of Raymondville, TX., Martin Moreno (Crystal) of Austin, TX., and Israel Moreno of Kyle, TX., by her daughters, Maria G. Moreno of Sacramento, CA., Lydia Gonzalez of Folsom, CA., and Diana Medina of Raymondville, Tx, 25 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Pedro Moreno, her son Tomas Moreno, her daughter, Adela Guerrero (Joaquin) both deceased, and her grandsons, Valentino Moreno and Eloy Salinas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Guillermo Guerrero, John Moreno, Pete Moreno, Vicente Lopez, Elijah Rios, and Joe (Jojo) Salinas.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 10 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Raymondville.  Interment will follow to her final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
