Elvia (Reta) Cordero

Elvia Cordero, 65, passed away on May 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving husband, Benjamin Cordero Jr. She was a loving wife and devoted mother. Elvia was born on October 26, 1959, to Geronimo Reta Sr. and the late Francisca Reta.

Elvia is survived by her loving husband, Benjamin Cordero Jr., daughters Noemi (Joey) Reyna, Jessica (Jeorge) Wilder, Christina Cordero, her son, Joshua Cordero, her grandchildren, Lydia and Lilah Salazar, Liam and Sophia Reyna, and Levi Wilder; and her beloved dog, Hachi.

Her mother, Francisca Reta, dear sister, Olga Cerda, and brother, Ricardo Reta preceded her in death.

Her faith as a Jehovah’s Witness was the foundation of her life. She found strength and hope in the promise of the resurrection and died faithful to her god, Jehovah.

A memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 7 pm. All services will conclude at this time.
