Eustacio Rubio, 69 yrs, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 13,2025, surrounded by loved ones. Eustacio was born in Elsa, Texas, on September 14, 1956, to Jose Juan and Juanita Rubio.
Eustacio graduated from Elsa High School and pursued his college education at Grand Valley State University in Michigan. He fulfilled a rewarding 20 yr. career as a Child Protective Supervisor in Raymondville, Texas. In his retirement, he was a proud owner/operator for Delta Aggregate & Landscaping Materials for 19 yrs. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors cooking and grilling for his wife/family.
Eustacio is survived by his wife of 29 yrs., Maria Irene Hernandez Rubio, his children, Anthony (Keisha) Rubio, Chris (Margo) Rubio, stepchildren, Gisela (Gavino) Ramirez, Celina (Isidro) Rodriguez, Krystal (JP) Tagle, Fernando Romo Jr., his 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, his sisters, Irma Rubio, Evangelina Rubio, Jean (Dean) Shaughnessy, and his brothers, Bernardo (Oralia ) Rubio, Robert (Maria Carmina) Salazar, Raymond (Cindy) Rubio.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Juan Rubio and his brother, Faustino Hernandez.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Krystina Figueroa, Andrew Peralez, Carlos Gomez, Jaden Tagle, Ethan Tagle, and Justin Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearer is Dylan Anthony Rubio.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow to his final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
