Eva G. Gonzales

Eva G. Gonzales, 91, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 16, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 4, 1931, in Kingsville, Texas to Paul Gomez and Paula Tamez Gomez.

Eva was a long-time member of the Ladies Auxiliary and was a very dedicated employee at the County Veterans Office.

Eva is survived by her son, Andy (Michelle) Gonzales, daughters, Sandra Gonzales and Annette Gonzales (Clyde Sayre), grandchildren, Joanne Gonzales, Ralph Andrew (Liz) Gonzales III, Marlena (Gerardo) Garza, and Oscar A. Rivas III, seven great-grandchildren, brothers, Ramiro (Dolores) Gomez and Paul Gomez, and sister, Olivia (Rosendo) Rodriguez. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Gonzales, brother, Rene Gomez, and sisters, Corina Longoria and Mary Correa.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Ralph Andrew Gonzales III, Oscar A. Rivas III, Clyde Sayre, Pablo Soto, Hal Anderson, Gerardo Garza Jr., and Stevie Soto. Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Gunthorpe and Everardo Garza.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held Friday, July 22, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home with interment to follow at Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
