With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Fay Idell Troppy, a woman of extraordinary kindness and grace whose gentle spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Fay was preceded in death by her beloved son, Darrell Troppy. She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Herman Troppy, and her son Daniel Troppy of Atlanta, who will forever cherish her memory.
Her warmth, compassion, and unwavering love touched countless lives, creating a legacy of kindness that will endure.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the neighbors and community who provided unwavering support and care throughout her illness. Special thanks go to The Aurora House Foundation for their compassionate hospice care and to the dedicated team at The Medical Team of Harlingen for their tireless efforts.
Fay’s light may have dimmed, but her love and kindness will forever shine in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 9 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow to her final place of rest next to her son, at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
