Federico M. Rivera

Federico M. Rivera, 95, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on May 13, 1926 in Santa Maria, Texas to Ismael Rivera and Andrea Morales Rivera.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ismael and Andrea Rivera, wife, Juana Del Toro Rivera, and brother, Ismael Rivera Jr. He is survived by his sons, Federico “Pacho” Rivera Jr., Carlos Rivera, Eliud Rivera, and Martin I. Rivera, daughters, Lesvia Elissetche, Noelia Rodriguez, Andrea Galvan, and San Juana Garcia, 18 grandchildren, and 35 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and will resume today, Friday, June 25, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. till 9:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A Holy rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Weslaco, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Rene Elissetche Jr., Juan Carlos Elissetche, Jaime A. Elissetche, Eliud Rivera Jr., Carlos Rivera Jr., Luis A. Garcia, and Eduardo “Lalito” Rodriguez.
