Frances Reyes

Maria Francisca (Frances) Vitela Reyes, 78, entered into eternal rest peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 21, 2024. She was born on April 2, 1945, in Raymondville, TX.

She is survived by her loving husband, Martin Reyes Sr. and her 6 children Lisa (Polo) Gonzales, Martin (Rosa) Reyes Jr., Nelly Reyes, Ricardo (Josie) Reyes Sr., Esteban (Leah) Reyes Sr., and Laura (J.D.) Cavazos, 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her mother Elvira Bazan and stepfather Jesus Bazan.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are her grandsons, Esteban Reyes Jr., Ricardo Reyes Jr., Aaron Gonzales, Martin Reyes III, and great grandsons Cosme Rubalcaba IV, Nickolas Gomez, Jesse Hernandez, and Isidro Ortiz Jr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 12 P.M. until 9 P.M. with a holy rosary at 7 P.M. and will resume on Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 1P.M. until 9 P.M. with a holy rosary at 7 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. All services will conclude at that time.  

The family would like to thank her nurses Janie, Aracely, and Debbie with the medical team Hospice, for their loving care, time, and attention.
