Georgette Denise Simmons, 40, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. She was born May 20, 1981, in Harlingen, TX.

She is survived by her daughter, Jasmine Simmons, sons, Malik Stewart and Xavier Humes-Sanchez, her mother, Maria Sanchez, father, George Sanchez, brothers, George David Sanchez and John David Sanchez, and sister, Veronica Sanchez. She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Carmen and Leandro Rios, paternal grandparents, Ofelia and Gilberto Sanchez, and uncles, Mariano Rios, Sr. and Jose Sanchez.

Georgette was a graduate of Lyford High School Class of 1999. She proudly served her country U.S. Army 12 years.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 12:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at San Martin de Tours in Sebastian. A funeral procession will follow to her final place of rest at the Sebastian Guadalupe Cemetery.

Honored to serve as Pall Bearers will be Victor Benavides, LeRoy Benavidez, Joey Rios, Rolando Rios, Mariano Rios Jr., and Christopher Tovar.
