Gilberto Perez

Gilberto Perez, 57, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 17, 2025, in Harlingen, TX. He was born in Edinburg, TX, on August 30, 1967, to Juan Jose Perez Jr. and Victoria Reyes Perez.

He is survived by his mother, Victoria Reyes Perez, his sons, John Jospeh Perez, and Gilberto Perez Jr., his daughter, Crystal Marie Hernandez, his brother Juan Jose Perez III, and his grandchildren, Gilbert Lebron Perez, Mia Mariee Perez, and Kailee Rose Perez.

He is preceded in death by his father, Juan Jose Perez Jr., and his sisters, Melissa Perez and Ermelinda Perez.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Justin James Perez, Juan Antonio Perez, Roel Garza Jr., Damien Jacob Perez, Darius Dominic Martinez, Demetrio Omar Martinez Jr., John Joseph Perez, and Jacob Perez.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 6 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow to his final place of rest at the Lasara Cemetery.
