Gloria Battaglia, 79, entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 11, 2025, at her residence, in Raymondville, TX. She was born on October 20, 1945, in Kingsville, TX, to Anastacio De La Torre and Amalia Salinas.
She is survived by her mother, Amalia Salinas, her son, Bobby Battaglia, her daughter, Michelle Casarez, her brother, Anastacio De La Torre Jr., her grandchildren, J David Casarez, Felicia Casarez, Apolinario Casarez Jr., Kayla Casarez, and Dillon Casarez, and by her 7 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Anastacio De La Torre, her sister, Guadalupe Salinas, and her brother, Manuel De La Torre.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are, Dillon Casarez, Arnold Salinas, Eddie Salinas, Maricio Salinas, Aroldo Garcia, and Joe Labuzzetta.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 5 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow to her final place of rest, at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
