Guadalupe C. Lopez

Guadalupe C. Lopez, 75, gained her wings on Friday, January 26, 2024, in Olmito, Texas. She was born on November 17, 1948, in Norias, Texas, to Eliseo B. Cortinas and Antonia Nieto.

She is survived by her sons, Fernando C. “Mary” Lopez, Jr., Lee Anthony “Sheryl” Lopez, Ronnie Lopez, and Daniel “Rosie” Lopez, her brothers, Rey Cortinas, Ruben Cortinas Sr., and David Cortinas, her sister, Celicia Garcia, and by her grandchildren, Samantha Amber, Aiden E., Jeremy, James, Hannah, Jacky, Leilani, Clarissa, Landon, Brianna, Stephanie, and Dennis.  

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Fernando S. Lopez, Sr., her parents, Eliseo B. Cortinas and Antonia Nieto, her brothers, Eliseo Cortinas, Robert Cortinas, Sr., and Oscar Cortinas, and her sister, Maria Elena Gonzales.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Raymondville, Texas. Interment will follow to her final resting place next to her loving husband at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to service as pallbearers are Aiden Lopez, James Lopez, Ramiro Lopez, Ramiro Lopez Jr., David Cortinas Jr., and Heron Lopez Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Roberto Cortinas Jr., Landin Lopez, and Jermey Lopez.
