Guadalupe (Chavez) Sosa

Guadalupe C. Sosa, 87, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 29, 2025, in Harlingen, TX. She was born on March 17, 1938, in Mission, TX, to the late Manuel Chavez and the late Aurora Gutierrez Chavez.

She is survived by her sons, Jose Francisco Sosa (Frances), and Gabriel Sosa Jr., daughters, Maria Alicia Grimaldo, Maria De Jesus Flores (Herman), Maggie Sosa, and Susan Munoz (Mario), 27 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Chavez and Aurora Gutierrez, her loving husband, Gabriel Sosa Sr., two sons and one son-in-law, her brothers, Pedro Chavez, Oscar Chavez, Roberto Chavez and Arturo Chavez, and her sisters, Ramona Santana, Elida Morales, Candida Mendez, and Celia Sosa.

Viewing will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will resume on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 4, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home.  Interment will follow to her final place of rest next to her loving husband at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
