Helen Cavazos, 80, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Aurora House in Weslaco, Texas. She was born on April 21, 1941, in Lyford, Texas, to Angelita Morales.
She is survived by her husband, Francisco Cavazos, sons, Jonathan Andrew Cavazos and Jacques Anthony Cavazos, daughter, Jacquelyne Audrey Cavazos-Moreno, brothers, Andres Garza, Enemencio Garza, Jr., and Roberto Garza, sisters, Angie Garza and Cynthia Quintanilla, grandchildren, Anissa Cavazos, Christian Cavazos, Noah Parmely, and Abby Moreno. She is preceded in death by her stepfather, Enemencio Garza, mother, Angelita Morales Garza, and son-in- law, Art Moreno.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 12:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Due to weather conditions, the burial will take place at a later date at The Cavazos Family Cemetery in Santa, Monica, TX.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Jonathan Cavazos, Christian Cavazos, Chris Cherry, Noah Parmely, Daniel Quintanilla, and Omar Cavazos.
