Born and raised in Willacy County, she was a force of nature, a source of endless laughter, and the heart of our family. Herminia touched countless lives with her kindness, generosity, strength and grace which inspired all who knew her. Her home was always filled with warmth and the aroma of homemade flour tortillas and delicious home cooked meals.
She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Frank Infante, and a loving mother to her children (Andrea, Juan, Eduardo, Jaime and Angela). Her greatest joy was spending time with family who will cherish the memories. Herminia is known as "Granny" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren that she unconditionally loved and cared for.
Herminia enjoyed spending time outdoors at her beloved ranch, El Maneado. She was a devoted member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Lyford, Texas, where she served as a Lector, Eucharistic Minister and sang in the Spanish choir alongside her husband for many years. She also served on the Altar Society and Parish Council. She was an avid sports fan that followed her beloved Lyford Bulldogs, Dallas Cowboys, and sometimes the Raymondville Bearkats.
She is survived by her sons, Juan Infante, Eduardo Infante (Nohemi Infante), and Jaime Infante (Duby Infante), her daughters, Andrea I. Mungia (Ubaldo C. Mungia) and Angela I. Rocha (Martin Rocha), her brother, Alberto Rincones, her sisters, Dora Rincones and Connie Fitch, her grandchildren, Marco Mungia, Michael Mungia, Marlow Mungia, Panch Infante, Teresa Infante, Jaime Infante, Eddie Infante, Adriana Infante, Ivonne Reyes, Clarisa Infante, Jaime Infante, Juan Infante, Lynda Huerta, Tomas Infante, Selina Infante-Medina, Aaron Infante, Alexia Perez, Andres Infante, Jaime Infante, Jose Martin Rocha Jr., Samuel Angel Rocha, by her 38 great grandchildren, and by her 4 great-great-grandchildren.
