Isabel (Garcia) Gonzales

Isabel Gonzales, 92, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Retama Manor in Raymondville, Tx. She was born on June 28, 1930, in Raymondville, Tx. to Leopoldo R. Garcia and Juesuita Hernandez.

She is survived by her son, Carlos (Charlie) Gonzales, daughters, Nelda Mata (Manuel Barrientez+), Isabel Roberts (Glen Roberts), Jesusita (Susie) Flores (Albert Flores), Rita Segreto (Edward Segreto), and Hortensia (Bebe) Capetillo- (Ben Capetillo), grandchildren, Alfredo (Freddy) Oviedo (Martha), Adalida Flores, Charles Gonzales (Liza), Patricia D. Kelley (Alisha Kelley), Aric Kelley (Ashlyn Granbois),  Anastacio (Tommy) Martinez, Jr. (Claudia), Valeria Badillo (Rigo Badillo), Benino Capetillo Jr. (Yasemin) Bobby Capetillo (Sharon) Bonnie Capetillo (Grand pup Bucky), and 11 great-grandchildren. Isabel is preceded in death by her husband, Luciano Gonzales, brothers, Manuel Garcia and Carlos Garcia, and son-in-law, Manuel Barrientez.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., then will resume on Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 6:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe with interment to follow at Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tommy Martinez, Patricia D. Kelley, Freddy Oviedo, Charles Gonzales, Benny Capetillo, and Bobby Capetillo.
