John Ray Zamora, 33, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Tx. He was born on October 16, 1988, in Harlingen, TX to Rodolfo Chavez and Yvonne Zamora.
Ray will be missed by his entire family. He was one of a kind, adored by many, loved by all, and left a great impression on anyone he met. Heaven has gained one of the best angels. We love and will miss you immensely Ray. Until we meet again.
He is survived by his mother, Yvonne Michelle Zamora, daughters, Naxiely Rae Lynn Zamora, Nailexy Yvonne – Domitila Zamora, Nailea Jacqueline Zamora, and Ariani Naomi Zamora, brothers (maternal), Damian (Annette), Joshua, Osiel Villarreal, (paternal) Christopher and Rudy Gonzalez, Rodolfo, Kristiano, Diego, and Emiliano Chavez, sisters (maternal), Michelle Zamora (Martin), Marlenah Castro (Jason), Priscilla Chavez (Jorge), Clarissa Gonzales, Leslie and Lindsey Villarreal, (paternal) Shelly Gonzalez, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, Heaven Villarreal, maternal grandparents, Alberto and Domitila Zamora and father, Rodolfo Chavez.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 12:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and will resume on Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at ST. Martin Catholic Church in Sebastian. A funeral procession will lead to his final place of rest in the Sebastian Guadalupe Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Priscilla Chavez, Joshua and Damian Villarreal, Derreck Figueroa, Ryan and Jacob Martinez, Martin Vargas, and Jason Gonzales
