Jorge Cervantes

Jorge Cervantes, 58, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 22, 2023, in Harlingen, TX. He was born on April 4, 1965, in Mexico to Juan Cervantes and Esperanza Moreno Gonzales.

He is survived by his mom, Esperanza Moreno Gonzales, his sons: Georgie Cervantes Jr. Martin Gabriel Cervantes, and Gregorio Adrian Cervantes, his daughters Martha Cervantes, Ronika Cervantes, and Alyssa Cervantes, his brothers, Andres Cervantes and Jaime Cervantes, and his sisters, Mercedes Cervantes, Maria Dolores Reyes, Constancia, Consuelo, and Maria Cruz. He is preceded in death by his father, Juan Cervantes, and his brother Juan Cervantes, Jr.

A viewing was held on Sunday, June 25, 2023, from 1 P.M. to 9 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 P.M.  A funeral service will be held at Good Shepherd Funeral Home on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 10 A.M. Interment to follow to his final place of rest at the Lasara Cemetery.  

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Georgie Cervantes Jr., Martin Gabriel Cervantes, Gregorio Adrian Cervantes, Ethan, Abrielle, Hailey, Justin, Kailey, Martin Jr., Jason, and Maxson.
