Jose Angel Mireles, 53, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 21, 2025, in Harlingen, TX. He was born on July 13, 1972, to Arturo S. Mireles and Rosa Flores Mireles, in Dona Ana, New Mexico.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria from Lasara, TX, his daughter, Isabella (Bella) Mireles from Lasara, TX., and Anissa Mireles, his mother, Rosa F. Mireles, his brothers, Alvaro (Maria) Mireles (Michigan), Anselmo (Eva) Mireles (Michigan), Alejandro (Marcie) Mireles (Michigan), Adelaido (Criselda) Mireles (Lyford), and Avelardo (Delma) Mireles (Lyford), and his sisters, RosAnna (Joel) Saldivar (Lyford), Reynalda (Bill) Emmons (Michigan), Ruby (Freddy +) Caballero (Harlingen), Rachel (Felix) Paredez (Sebastian), and Rosie (Izzy) Rodriguez (Lasara), and by numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Arturo Mireles Sr., his brothers, Arturo Mireles Jr., and Andres Mireles Sr.
Angel was one of those people you just don’t forget. He loved his music, loved his daughter even more, and had a gift for making people laugh. He greeted everyone like family and somehow always knew what was going on in our small town before anyone else. Rest easy, Angel. Your laughter and spirit will live on.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. All services will conclude at this time.
