Jose Sanchez Obituary

Our family shares with heavy hearts the passing of Jose De Jesus Sanchez, September 16, 1954 – July 1, 2026, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend whose strength carried him through many difficult battles.  A hardworking man all his life, he dedicated himself to mechanic work and construction, always willing to lend his hands and skills to anyone in need.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Ventura Sanchez, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage, a lifetime filled with devotion, perseverance, and deep family love; his son, Jerry Sanchez (Cassie Najera), and his cherished grandchildren, Diego Sanchez and Kasydee Sanchez, who will forever remember him as a loving and kind grandfather. He is also survived by his sister, Delia Castillo.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and brother.

His unwavering love for his family and the legacy of the hard work, kindness, and quiet determination he leaves behind will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jerry Sanchez, Diego Sanchez, Jaime Montemayor, Brandon Cantu, Abel Castillo, Eloy Castillo, Beto Orozco III, and Rick Huerta. Honorary pallbearers are Kasydee Sanchez and Julian Huerta.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Interment will follow to his final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.

The funeral arrangements are entrusted to the caring hands of Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 1157 W. Hidalgo Ave, Raymondville, Texas 78580.

 

 

Nuestra familia comparte con gran tristeza el fallecimiento de José De Jesús Sánchez, 16 de septiembre de 1954 – 1 de julio de 2026, un querido esposo, padre, abuelo, hermano, tío y amigo cuya fuerza lo sostuvo en muchas batallas difíciles. Hombre trabajador durante toda su vida, se dedicó al trabajo mecánico y a la construcción, siempre dispuesto a ofrecer sus manos y habilidades a quien lo necesitara.

Le sobrevive su amorosa esposa, María Ventura Sánchez, con quien compartió 50 años de matrimonio, una vida llena de dedicación, perseverancia y profundo amor familiar; su hijo, Jerry Sánchez (Cassie Najera), y sus queridos nietos, Diego Sánchez y Kasydee Sánchez, quienes siempre lo recordarán como un abuelo cariñoso y amable. También le sobrevive su hermana, Delia Castillo.Le preceden en la muerte sus abuelos, padres y hermano.

Su amor inquebrantable por su familia y el legado de trabajo duro, bondad y determinación silenciosa que deja atrás serán profundamente extrañados por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.

Honrados de servir como portadores del féretro están Jerry Sanchez, Diego Sanchez, Jaime Montemayor, Brandon Cantu, Abel Castillo, Eloy Castillo, Beto Orozco III y Rick Huerta. Los portadores de féretro honorarios son Kasydee Sanchez y Julian Huerta.

La velación se llevará a cabo el martes 7 de julio de 2026, de 10 a.m. a 9 p.m., con un santo rosario a las 7 p.m. en la Funeraria Good Shepherd. La misa funeral se celebrará el miércoles 8 de julio de 2026, a las 10 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. El entierro seguirá en su lugar final de descanso en el Cementerio Raymondville Memorial Park.
