Jose Tijerina Jr.

Joe Tijerina Jr., 56, of Raymondville, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in Raymondville, Texas. He was born on September 21, 1967, in Raymondville, Texas to Jose Tijerina Sr. and Eva De La Rosa.

He is survived by his brother, Jaime Tijerina, and his sisters, Nelda Tijerina, Nora Salinas, Ninfa Requena, and Jeana Tijerina.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Tijerina Sr., his mother, Eva M. De La Rosa Tijerina, and his nephew, Eloy Salinas.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 31, from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 1, at 1 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, interment will follow to his final place of rest at Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers were Eloy Salazar, David De Leon, Jaime Tijerina, Joe Salinas, Diego Requena, Joe Salinas Jr., Honorary pallbearers were Gage Salinas, Caleb Salinas, and Jaxson Lock.
