Jose Jesus Trevino, 103, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in Harlingen, TX. He was born on July 27, 1922, to Esequiel Trevino and Juanita Castillo Trevino.
He is survived by his sons, Antonio (Terry+) Trevino, Alberto (Pilar) Trevino, Esequiel (Krystal) Trevino, and Enrique (Maria) Trevino, his daughters, Carmen (Salvador) Madrigal, Anita (Raul) Hinojosa, and Bertha (Alex) Reyna, his brother, Armando Trevino, his sisters, Mariana Trevino, and Jovita Ramirez, his grandchildren, Antonio Trevino Jr., Jose M. Trevino, Jaime M. Garza, Cassandra Trevino, Eric Trevino, Joseph Trevino, Vanessa A. Hinojosa, Steve Trevino, Amanda Hinojosa, Ruben Trevino, Alissa Reyna, Ava Reyna, Carmen T. Mendoza, Esperanza McGillicuddy, Deanna Villalpando, Enrique Trevino, Angela Hinojosa, Sarahi Trevino-Martin, Janie Garza, and Jose A. Trevino, numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by loving wife, Aurora Trevino, his daughter, Yolanda Garza, his daughter-in-law, Terry Trevino, his granddaughter, Jessica Montoya. his brother Belen Trevino, Timoteo Trevino, Modesto Trevino and Ricardo Trevino, and his sister, Estefana Sanchez.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Joseph Trevino, Ruben Trevino, Jaime Garza, Deverick Trevino, Steve Trevino, Jose M. Trevino and Vanessa Hinojosa.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will resume on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 9 a.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow to his final place of rest next to his beloved wife, at the Lasara Cemetery.
