Jose Luis "Joey" Martinez

Jose Luis “Joey” Martinez, 47, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 27, 2023, in Harlingen, TX. He was born on December 31, 1975, to Jose Luis Martinez Sr., and Alicia De La Paz.

He is survived by his parents, Jose Luis Martinez Sr., and Alicia De La Paz, his son Jose Luis Martinez III, his daughter Miranda Alexia Martinez, his brothers, Omar (April) Martinez, and Robert (Shila) Martinez, and his grandchildren, Luka, Autumn, Sophia, Violet, Everly, Azora, Ezaiah.

A viewing will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023, from 1 P.M. until 9 P.M. with a holy rosary at 7 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 10 A.M at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Interment will follow to his final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery.  

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jose Luis Martinez III, Omar Martinez, Robert Martinez, Armin Martinez, Oscar Esquibel, Richard Quintanilla, Orlando Quintanilla, and Jaheim Ibe.
