Josue Eliab Garcia, 70, entered into eternal rest in Harlingen, Texas, on Thursday, February 8, 2024. He was born in McAllen, Texas to Guillermo Garcia and Elizabeth Rodriguez.
He is preceded in death by his parents Guillermo (Willie) Garcia Sr. and Elizabeth Rodriguez Garcia, and Guillermo (Cheno boy) Garcia Jr., and Reynaldo (Tito) Garcia.
He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Conner Garcia, his sons, Josue Elido (Sandra Lynn+) Garcia Jr., Josh (Francesca) Garcia, Lino Alvarez Jr., and stepson, Johnny Zavala, his daughters, Vanessa (Fabian) Ramirez, Lincoln Nicole Garcia, Mia Elizabeth Garcia, Cecilia Hope Alvarez. Austin Kaylee Alvarez, and stepdaughters, Ana Zavala-Cavazos, and Janica Zavala-Cortez, his brothers, David Garcia, Jacinto (Elma) Garcia Sr., Aroldo (Shorty) Garcia, and Cindy Garcia, his sisters, Minerva (Balde) Garcia, Stella (Rudy) Garza, and Diana (Ramiro) Conde, his grandchildren, Jouse E. Garica III, Rudy Garcia, Danyssa Garcia, and Kaylee Ramirez, and by his great grandchildren, Trystan Garcia, Tayden Garcia, and Traedyn Garcia.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Josue Garcia Jr., Josue Garcia III, Rudy Garcia, Lino Alvarez Jr., Josh Garcia, Jacinto Garcia, Aroldo Shorty Garcia, and Johnny Zavala. Honorary pallbearers are Randy Salinas, Joe Labuzzetta, Rick Rangel, and Armando Perez Jr.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with a holy rosary at 9 A.M. and at 7 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 2 P.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A second day of viewing will resume on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. All services conclude at this time.
