Juan Jose "Pepe" Salinas

Juan Jose “Pepe” Salinas, 75, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 22, 2024. He was born on March 22, 1949, in Harlingen, TX, to Juan C. and Petra D. Salinas.   

Pepe is survived by his loving wife, Norma Salinas, his son, Joseph Casey Salinas, his brother, Gilbert Salinas (Bea), and by his sisters, Connie Aparicio (Joe) and Julie Cantu (Rey).

He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan Chriostomo and Petra Davila Salinas.

Honored to service as pallbearers are Rudy Oviedo, Ernesto Oviedo, Gilbert Salinas, Rey Oviedo, Celestino Oviedo Jr, and Pete Rodriguez.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Lyford, TX.
