Juanita Cortez, 77, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, with family by her side. She was born in Robstown, TX, on January 15, 1948, to Bernadino Cruz and Guadalupe Bernal.
She is survived by her sons, Oscar Cisneros Jr., Martin Cisneros (Griselda), Ruben Cisneros Sr., and Juan Cisneros, her daughters, Rosario Cisneros (Manuel), and Irma L. Cisneros, her brother, Gilberto Cruz, 17 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her mother, Guadalupe Bernal.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Juan Cisneros, Alejandro Cisneros Sr., Robert Cisneros, Justin Cavazos, Martin Cisneros Jr., Mathew Cisneros, and Alejandro Cisneros Jr.
Viewing will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a Nurse Honor Guard Ceremony and prayer service at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow to her final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
