Juanita (Cardenas) Macias

Juanita Cardenas Macias, 89, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025, in Harlingen, TX. Juanita was born on August 23, 1936, in Donna, TX, to Victor Cardenas and Sara C. Medina.

She is survived by her brothers, Dimas Cavazos, Zeke Cavazos (Janice), Juan Cavazos, and Ernesto Cavazos (Gloria), and by her sisters, Maria Therien (John), Elvira Mungia (Arnold), and Faye J. Medina.

She is preceded in death by parents, Victor Cardenas and Sara C. Medina, her brother, Santos Cavazos, and her sister, Maggie Rodriguez.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow to her final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
