Julia Cardona

Julia Cardona of Raymondville entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at the age of 80. She was born on September 3, 1944, in Denver, Colorado to Andres and Dominga Conde. She is preceded in death by her parents, and daughter, Brenda Cardona Guerrero.

Julia is survived by her loving family, husband of 67 years, Gilberto Cardona; children, Sylvia De Leon (Robert), Ricardo Cardona (Virginia), Jose Luis Cardona (Maria), Gilbert Cardona, Armando Cardona, Andres Cardona (Roslyn), Oscar Cardona, and Sandra Jean Cardona; 26 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; siblings, Adolfo Conde, Andres Conde, Ernesto Conde, Ramon Conde, Julian Conde, Gloria Garcia, Elvira Amador, and Rosalinda Acuna; extended family members and friends.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are her six sons, Rick, Jose Luis, Gilbert Jr., Mando, Andy, and Oscar.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow to her final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
