Ladislado "Lago" A Villarreal

Ladislado A. “Lago” Villarreal, 74, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at his residence in Raymondville, Texas. He was born on December 27, 1947 in Raymondville, Texas to Angel Villarreal and Paula Alaniz Villarreal.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Angel and Paula A. Villarreal, brother, Isidro Villarreal, and granddaughter, Sofia Andrade. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria R. Villarreal, sons, Angel Villarreal and Jose Carlos Villarreal, daughters, Paula Villarreal, Maria Elena Villarreal, Magdalena Villarreal, and Olivia Villarreal, brother, George Villarreal, sisters, Concepcion “Connie” Moreno, Maria Luisa Espinoza, Manuela Guzman, Linda Reyna, Paula Villarreal, Angela Arce, and Chriselda Hernandez, grandchildren, Mariana, Natalia, Mireya, Crystal, Martin, Adrian, Saul, Pedro, Ismael, Gabriela, Angel, Madison, Celeste, Oliver, and Abigail, and great grandchildren, Briseis, Cash, Benjamin, Jason, Analia, and Kingsley.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and resumes on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a holy rosary recited Friday at 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A funeral procession will follow to his final place of rest in the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Angel Villarreal, Jose Carlos Villarreal, Adrian Andrade, Pedro Andrade, David Hernandez, Saul Andrade, Angel Moreno, Benjamin Moreno, Oziel Lopez, and Isaac Soto.
