Leticia Valdez Sierra, 50, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 9, 2026. She was born in Dallas, TX, to Jose Luis Sierra and Rosa Valdez Sierra, on July 17, 1975.
Leticia had a special love for arts and crafts, especially when it came to making mums for her family and friends – each one made with care and from the heart. She was a kind a selfless soul, always ready to open her home and her heart to anyone in need. More than anything, she treasured her time with her grandchildren, finding her greatest joy in being surrounded by their love and laughter.
She is survived by her sons, Samuel Jose Chapa, Isaiah Kane Chapa, LeAndrew Edward Chapa, and Adrian Zachariah Sierra, her daughters, Alexia Nicole Sierra (Tristan Bayless), Allyssa Cristal De Jesus, and Alazay Rose De Jesus, her parents, Jose Luis and Rosa V. Sierra, her brothers, Jose Luis Sierra Jr., Ruben Sierra, and Abel Sierra, her grandchildren, Raeleen Trixie Chapa, Avery Rose Chapa, Alayna Jae Chapa, LeAndrew Edward Chapa Jr., Zayden Levi Chapa, and Isaiah Kane Chapa Jr.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Margarita Cantu, and Elvira and Ambrosio Valdez.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Jose Luis Sierra Jr., Ruben Sierra, Samuel Jose Chapa, Isaiah Kane Chapa, LeAndrew Edward Chapa, Adrian Z. Sierra. Honored to serve as honorary pallbearers are Abel Sierra and Tristan Bayless.
Viewing will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow to her final place of rest at the Sebastian Cemetery.
