Manuel De La Torre, 71, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. He was born on November 11, 1951, in Mission to Anastacio De La Torre and Amalia Salinas.
Manuel was a good son and brother; he was always taking care of his mother that he loved. He loved to take walks in the yard and cared for his dogs Susy and Randy, that he loved dearly.
He is survived by his brother, Anastacio De La Torre Jr. and his sister, Gloria Battaglia. He is proceeded in death by his father, Anastacio De La Torre, his sister, Lupita Salinas, and brother-in-law, Gilbert Salinas.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 12:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral procession will follow to his final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Arnold Salinas, Ernesto Salinas, Rudy Vela, Eddie Salinas, Mauricio Salinas, and Aroldo Garcia.
