Marcella Rodriguez

Marcella Rodriguez, 89, went to heaven on September 25, 2022, she was born in Poth, TX, on January 16, 1933, to Ambrosio Rios and Leonor Silva.

She is survived by her sons, Manuel Rodriguez (Dina), Delfino Rodriguez (Molly), and Ricardo (Ricky) Rodriguez Jr. (Melissa), daughters, Maria Elena Esperaza, Celia Solorio (Rigo+), Nora Garcia (Oscar), and Olga Rodriguez Medrano (Joe), brothers, Antonio Rios, Ambrosio Rios Jr., George Rios, Rudy Rios, and Joe Rios, sisters, Ofelia Diaz, Juanita Jimenez, 29 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ambrosio Rios Sr. and Leonor Silva, husband, Ricardo Rodriguez Sr., son, Ruben R. Rodriguez, brothers, Pablo Rios and Lupe Rios, sisters, Olivia Sosa, Isabel Rios, and Herminia Tamez, great-grandson, Adam James Garcia Jr., and great-granddaughters, Misty Rae Rodriguez and Elizabeth Rodriguez.

Public visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M., with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home with interment followed to her final place of rest at Lasara Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Joshua Rodriguez, Jonathan Rodriguez, Oscar Garcia Jr., Adrian Garcia, DJ Solorio, CJ Medrano, Andy Posada, Frank Posada, and Trey Medrano.
